im saving up for the archer queen and am having difficulty, i reached the halway mark easily but now its awful, every raid i get smashed for 1000 de and i cant recover this before the next time im raided, any tips?

You can either stay online all the time and do a hardcore raiding session. Chatting with clan mates can help to keep you entertained.
Or you can just ignore her for a while, upgrade your drills to 6 (= 4'800 de / day) as well as other defenses. That's what I did and it's much less stressful.

Go to gold 2, then farm, and raid like crazy for dark elixir, while trying to use the cheapest army composition u can make, such as the barch strategy, which i use.
doing all this but who snipes a th when i have 350k gold and elix and 1200 de avalible, also all the lvl 120's come out to play and i have no chance of defending, even with maxxed defense, i also get lighteninged
Wait a second, your TH9 defenses are maxed but you can't manage to save up 40'000 de?

what im doing! but its painful, with my lvl 5 troops and 200 space, (all cmps are upgrading though)
no im a new th9 but my point was its impossible to defend against an attacker a th ahead of you
TH outside. Dump gold in walls.

Oh, it's very possible. Th10 doesn't get that many offensive improvements over TH9. Th9 vs TH8 is ten times worse.
And to add to this, I defend my 2'500 raid-able dark elixir against Th10s on a regular basis.
