I hate to see it, but looks like you have a point.

Guys, I know we see quite a few ruled out ideas here, but we still need to come into threads with an open mind. Posting "ruled out" based on the title... not a good strategy for improving the forum. There's nothing wrong with posting "ruled out" ONCE per thread, or suggesting that people use the search function for common ideas, but the main points of conversation in this subforum should be the ideas themselves.

Now, let's focus less on telling posters what they are doing wrong and more on crtiquing and/or improving their ideas. Again, one "ruled out" post per ruled-out thread is fine, but anything more than that is essentially spam. Same goes for derailing threads in arguing about using the search function and the stickies. One post is plenty, and I encourage people to use the report button to report excessive/unnecessary comments like that.

All that being said, inflammatory posting and personal attacks like this are not the way to solve the problem.
