Low gold grab opinions?

Okay, so here's the deal.... I'm level 79, and a few weeks into th8. There is one th9 in my clan, who has a gold grab of over 500 million.... He told me that he has been playing for 9 months or so, and I've been playing for 7 now. My gold grab is around 101 mil, and I was wondering if his is way above average? I mean, im kinda scared of the fact that he's been playing two months more than me and has literally 5x gold stolen than I have... Am I below average for my level? Am I a bad farmer? Halp! Gahhhh!

I've spent like 120 bucks on the game, I'll admit... But what does that have to do with anything? I spent the gems on boosting and builders to raid faster.

Very helpful response there. But it's not hard to get to level 79 without gemming and have a gg around or under 100 mil. Just means your activity level is a lot lower then his.

Oh, and if it helps at all... My Friend in need is about 28,000, that boosted me up a few levels.

maxxing th 7 only takes around 100 mil gold it takes around 330 mil to max th 8 so your in the right ballpark for a fresh th 8. just means ypur friend is more active then u

I've been playing for about 5-6 weeks now (lvl 44) and I'm town hall 6 with 18m GG. So I don't think 101m is 7 months is that low.

Youre fine, there really isnt much to spend gold on th lvl 1-7. Your gg should be at least over 200 mil before you hit th9 and that is fairly normal
