Hey guys, so I know that a lot of people talk about how clan wars is a huge elixer/dark elixer killer because the war loot doesn't really cover the cost of the troops needed to 2-3 star certain high-level bases. This is especially true with the use of all-drag attacks and hogs.
I came up with the idea that maybe we could get back a certain percentage of the troop cost if they survive until the end of the attack. This amount of elixer/dark elixer would automatically be rewarded into the storages, just like how you earn a win-bonus based on your league in a normal raid. This could also be implemented in normal raids to keep it consistent.
I was thinking maybe around 20-30% of the troop cost could be returned if it survives the attack. Some other things to consider would be situations where you get 100%, run out of time, or quit. I think if you 100% a base, any troops still alive could give you a certain return percentage, and running out of time would give you less. Quitting out of a battle would not give you any return in troop cost.
Let me know what you all think of this idea. I know that many people say that if the troop doesn't die then we should still be able to keep it in our camps (like boom beach), but because that system is not implemented into Clash, I figured maybe this would be another way.

In that case I completely support it! I hate creating expensive armies and only gaining back half--if that--of the cost.
