    idea submission: Garrison tower

This is a building in the village that the player can garrison with his or her own troops. There's a lot of flexibility in designing this to avoid it becoming overpowering or unbalancing.
    My idea:
TH 4, you get 1 tower with 2 slots for troops (so limited to barbs & archers). If barbs are stationed there, they would attack an attacker on a range similar to the castle. If archers were stationed, they would stay in the tower, appear on the roof and it would be similar to another archer tower. And you can mix the troops so you could have one barb and 1 archer. Later with more troops slots, you could have a wizard, or a hog/giant.
TH 5, you get a second tower.
TH 6, each tower gets a 3rd troop slot
    TH 7, third tower
    TH 8, 4th troop slot
    TH 9, 4th tower
    TH 10, 5th troop slot

This could work... Only problem is it would get very over powered very fast. For example a TH 10 would essentially have 5 higher-than-max level archer towers (5 towers with 5 level 6 archers each). Please think about this and update it.

Well, that def needs to be considered, if 5 slots is too much then something like:
    TH 4, 1 tower, 2 slots
    TH 6, 2nd tower
    TH 8, 3rd slot
    TH 10, 3rd Tower
Plus, the towers could be kept to very low hitpoints to allow their effectiveness to be limited, or the range could be kept short. In my view, it would be nice if the player had the choice to mix troops in the garrison and be able to include a wiz at least if not a giant, hog, or other troop. it would provide strategic opportunities and quite a bit of thinking on the part of the player to consider options/opportunities.

That is much more balanced. Maybe do a limit of 2 towers with 4 spaces each? I guess maaaayyyybe 3 towers with 4 spaces. But 5 with 5 is definitely too over powered.

Either do 2 with 4 each or 3 with 3.
