Help! Need recruiting advice

I'm new to the clan member recruiting world and was wondering what are the best ways to get people to come join a clan and hopefully stay.

Since both of our clans are struggling for members, what if we just combine the two. I got 5 members

Try to get a top guy to join and then it leads from there

It takes patience...global is rough! I have had my new clan for about a month and a half and am finally up to about 20 decent members. Probably have been through several hundred though lol.
