Lightning bolt raid has gone from annoying to just wrong!

I raid THs lower than me every day. I never claimed otherwise. Not TH8s, but definitely TH9s. There is nothing wrong with that. I'm sure they raid TH8s too, and TH8s raid TH7s, so on and so forth. There's nothing wrong with raiding people of any TH level above or below you, because the loot penalty is in place to cap what you can take so it's always fair.

Ha ha.. In your opinion there is nothing wrong with raiding lower level people. IMO there is nothing wrong in spamming DE storages with lightening spells..I see youre staying in crystal 2. With lvl 121, dont you thing the crystal2 is far lower trophy range?.

Individuals opinion does not matter here.. If you want the people attack you legitimately instead of using lightening spells, you attack your own town hall level people legitimately.. A th9 only need minimum skill to swipe out th8 base with l6 giants, bunch of goblins and couple of healing spells..

You know, I have a secret of stopping DE zap on my base.. do you wanna know that?. Just move up in the trophies.

I really don't understand, why the higher level player always whine about DE zapping?! (No pun intended) Its a part of the game...

Somehow these threads always ends up the same way. People complain and other people disagree. Lightning never gonna get nerfed so don't bother.

This is a fairly accurate assessment.

However, when people come in here suggesting that people should only attack people of the same townhall level, well this is blatantly silly and needs to be said so. Not only is it extremely profitable to attack one TH lower than you, it is a perfectly fine and fair part of the game to do so. But this is digressing from the OP now. Yes, lightning spams are part of the game, either get even or let it go.

Delphin, you are barking up the wrong tree. I accept the rare time that I get zapped with multiple lightning spells up in Crystal 2. You are thinking that share the feelings of the OP, where I actually do not. I don't let it bother me. If it's worth it, I revenge the zapper. If it's not worth it, I move on and attack someone new

But a TH8 will not b able to. Unless u have both yr inferno towers & an AD being upgraded, with the xbows pointing down, then possibly with dragons lvl3. Otherwise it will b 3 lightning strikes.

My point isn't that lightning the de storage is unfair or illegal all I am asking for is some way to defend against it or at least make it worth the revenge. In every case ( at least for me) it is a low level who attacks me...not a revenge from one of my attacks. You can't defend against it and with loot and trophy penalties it isn't worth it to revenge so all I am asking is to level the field a little. The lightning rod would cover a smaller area and need to be recharged so I have to make sure to reload it or the revenge idea is a one time only good deal. It isn't easy saving the de for hero upgrades and what point is upgrading my defenses if you can just throw a few lightning bolts and take a huge chunk? If you beat me and take it then fine...but just because I'm a higher level doesn't mean I should just suck it up. Where is the fun in that?

Move up in trophies AND revenge zappers. Few TH7s are in Crystal so the loot penalty doesn't stop you.

If you're a TH9 and TH10s that you can't beat are zapping you, then the TH10s have a very sorry Clash existence.

I agree with this 100%. The issue isn't that we don't like being zapped, it's that we can't defend against it. Give us an option to do something in game about this and we'll stop complaining. I can't understand why people are against this.

It would be like supercell not putting in any air defenses, but still putting in flying units. The issue wouldn't be that flying units are unfair, it would be a demand to give us some way to defend against them.

I don't particularly like the lightning rod idea, when cup pushing using lightning to scramble for 50% is a legit tactic; I don't want a lightning rod stopping that.

However, would like something done with revenge. Maybe the loot penalty is halved for revenge or something.

Say a TH8 attacks a TH10. They usually get 50% loot protection. This would reduce their loot protection to just 25%.

Give them some protection, but not as much. If you want to poke the bull, you get the horns.
