...I'm starting to consider upgrading to TH 9 soon

My original plan was to get level 8 walls finished... but that plan isn't sounding so good right now. I'm looking at all the cool stuff TH 9 has (Xbows, Max troops, Witches, 4th wiz tower and air defense, etc and I'm wondering if I should upgrade sooner than planned. Here's my base:

The absolute soonest I could go there is after my walls are at level 7+... but after that what else do I "need" to upgrade before TH 9? I've got Barbarians/Archers/Balloons/Dragons maxed and level 3 minions, level 3 zaps/heals, level 4 rage (Those are the only things I ever use). So my question is, what do you guys think I should upgrade before starting the TH upgrade? I'm thinking level 7 walls and AT's. Thanks.

Upgrade your teslas to lvl 5 max your archer tower and cannons and splash defense and get your walls to lvl 7.

You'll regret it if you don't start upgrading 'em Tesla towers soon.

Ok I'll stick closer to the original plan, Teslas and ATs, along with Cannons and lvl 7 walls.

Upgrade the defenses. Rush to TH9 is totally different from TH7.

Loot in th9 is quite amazing. De comes much faster which is helpful. Your splash, air defense and camps and farming troops are all maxed I wouldn't be afraid to move up if you really wanted too. Depends how active you are really. Also once you hit th9 you'll have some cheaper stuff to work on as well for days where you can't save a ton.

I regret not upgrading my teslas to max. Definitely should do those teslas!

Just max those wb and giant. Giant lev 6 is one of the best upgrade. Other than that, you are good to go. Just make sure you can get 40k DE for the queen. Th 8 is not a place you want to stay for long. Getting raided by lev 6 troop daily. In th 9 you get the 4th storage which is really helping. Not counting 4th tesla, 4th WT, 2 xbow, 6th AT. I stay in th 8 only for exactly 40 days and I never regret it.
