Maybe if you were awarded gems would be better. I think the elixir and gold is a good idea but if we were free to do whatever we wanted with our birthday gift, that would be nice. 500 gem gift.

And you should make it so you can't change it.. Also there should be an option to make it private.
Yes! Once your birthday is established you can't change it!!!
I think this is a great idea. I hope that there will be an update that will ask for a birthdate next update.
