Push notifications for getting attacked are already implemented so maybe you just didn't turn them on. To turn them on, go to Settings > Notification Centre > Clash of Clans.


I personally don't think the loot bonus applying for defences also is good because if you're a high league with a good new base that people don't have a good tactic to attack (and 3-star), so they'll all lose and you'll get money and trophies, so you won't get on clash that often. If more and more people do that, Clash will slowly crumble away.


Say that you're Master III - 75k gold, 75k elixir and 400 dark elixir loot bonus - and you're TH10 with a good base. You get attacked 5 times, you win 3 times and lose 2 times and you got 70k available gold and in the 2 losses you lose 50k 3*75,000= 225,000. 50,000*2= 100,000. 225,000 - 100,000= 125,000. So you're making 125k gold alone. Think about how much you could get by just sitting back and waiting for people to attack you.
