Ya. The guy who was doing the thread got really busy irl and had to leave clan. We are going through some growing pains right now and I don't think anyone has the forum skills to keep it going. Soo for now we are going dark lol.

Ummmmm because in previous wars, ITD had 8 max heroes and no max bases while IIB had 40 max heroes and 10+ max bases. Now ITD have farmed their way up to match with IIB base strength-wise and hero strength-wise.

Look at it this way, a heavy-weight beat up a featherweight 3 times. Now this featherweight bulked up and moved up on his weightclass. Those 3-0 becomes meaningless when it's pound-for-pound in the same weight class. It's a different story now.

And duh~ ITD already beat 云月轩 that won against IIB and this was pretty recent too (3 weeks ago). ITD hasn't matched with IIB for over 5 months. So with common sense, you do the math: IIB beat ITD 5 months ago, ITD beat 云月轩 3 weeks ago, and now 云月轩 beat IIB. That puts IIB in 3rd and ITD and 云月轩 fighting for 1st.

ITD has improved dramatically while IIB has drifted backwards. Don't get me wrong, these are all great clans, but just ask the clan that just beat IIB, and check the Chinese forums, they'll tell you they had an easier time facing IIB than when they lost to ITD. Simple fact.

No wonder IIB kept on delaying, avoiding and giving excuses to ITD when asked to war.

Still gotta respect and congratulate IIB on an incredible war winning streak - at the top of the best war clans - right now they still the best ... One loss doesnt change that and it will probably make them better

I think some of the spectators take for granted how insane it is to go undefeated since the start of CW. They have fended off oppt after oppt. Regardless of when it happened, this accomplishment is unique in itself and wont ever happen again in the history of CW. A loss will only fuel the fire to adjust to the new changes and improve. If you never face adversity and never get beaten, you never get better. Forget about who is number 1, 2, 5, or 10 for a moment and just appreciate what we have seen. Congrats to the chinese clan and much respect to IIB. A force to be reckoned with and will continue to be one in the future.

As far as i know the chinese clan improved their bases after they lost to ITD. CW is more about defense now after the new update and they discussed and redesigned all bases after they got matched with IIB. Dont mention that everyone there is pumped trying to beat IIB. So it's not like simple math as you said and its gonna be super close no matter which side wins.

In my opinion, it is not right to throw placements like #1, #2, and say that clans dropped because of a loss. In every clan war, we see a different version of that clan at war. Some versions of clans may be good on particular days, while some may be worse on other days. Keep in mind that these clan wars between extremely skilled clans are decided by a very few amount of stars. This particular was was decided by 4 attacks. In these cases, it is impossible to decide rigid rankings of clans over others because of a single loss. All of these top skilled war clans have good days and bad days, and if any of them were to have a series of wars against each other, none would be able to complete a clean sweep as of right now. So instead of putting top war clans into an imaginary ranking system, just determine the category of top war clans. There is no real ranking more accurate than that.
