I have them currently at lvl 5 lol and there are many raids ive lost at 49% just because my queen died with only one shot left or something like that so I was thinking getting them to lvl 15 will be alright, I'm in masters 1 so the dark elixir up here is amazing. so how much time would it take or the real question is, will it be easy or hard to get em up?
getting them up to 10 isn't too tedious. Up to 15 starts to get tough, up to 20 gets slow. 20+ is a pain, but worth it.

If you have plenty of DE, you should be able to upgrade one per week. So 10 levels of each, 20 weeks. That's an average.
I'm currently in the 15 range and it takes me 2 weeks because I burn tons of DE for wars (twice a week). But could easily manage 75k DE each week.
Is it worth 20 weeks of having one heroes down? Sure.
But I hope most of your other DE troops are maxed. Because heroes are not a war machine by thenselves

Yeah I have plenty of de, I'm focusing on my de troops first because I cant upgrade heroes in master 1, lvl 5 or not they really do are the key in getting me the last percentage points i need. once I achieve my goal, which is a few days from now I'll take my time here and farm as much de as possible. lvl 15 is the main goal then I can take it slow from there.
