The sweet victory doesn't get update right after every raid, but the trophy count does, so i don't see what is so weird about it.
It is like when starting a new season, and the attack/defend haven't been update, then people freak out that someone has 100 attack won on the first day.....

I guess maybe sweet victory only updates after the player has logged in and maybe the guy got the additional 83 trophies through defense wins.
