Th 7 upgrade path. Both gold and elixir, and eventually, Dark elixir.
Th 6 with everything maxed, except walls and with th6 being upgraded as we speak. Right now, dumping extra gold into walls and just saving up elixir. About 40+ walls left for lv 6.
Upon reaching th7, what should be upgraded/ bought first?
Gold-wise, Elixir-wise, and later on, dark elixir-wise?
Elixir wise, should I upgrade troops or a barracks to lv 9 to get dragons? Or just spending it on get the DE storage and dark barracks, then troops and such?
Gold wise, dunno.
DE wise, I assume Barb King, then Lab for troops or just the king.
If you still want to upgrade some TH6 troops, the new campfire and spell factory should be your priority instead of the lab
After getting the new walls to lv6 (pink), walls should not be a priority since it takes the same amount of wallbreakers to destroy a lv7 wall compared to a lv6 one in most wb levels. Lv5 isn't bad either. After upgrading the new defense towers to an okay level, upgrading the clan castle is good
Farming for DE is slightly different than the other two resources so you should wait until you have your base can defend itself relatively well. After getting a Lv1 BK, you should decide on whether you want to keep farming for lv5 BK or stay as lv1 for a while because only upgrades in multiples are 5s are worth getting

Clan castle as of yet cannot be upgraded until th 8. All camps cannot be upgraded until th9 besides the new 1 in th 7.
Any tips on getting DE for the BK? Besides zapping, as it's frowned upon... Unless you actually try to raid the base.
So, Lab is a priority in elixir. And spell factory after to get rage. And troops, especially. Also, all lab upgrades have been maxed at th6.
All my barracks are lv8 so is upgrading 1 to 9 a bad idea, early on in this th level?
And mines and collectors are level 10 btw, in th 7 should I upgrade them sooner or later?
Any new th 7 items to buy ASAP? I assume buying the DE storage is a priority early on as well. And dark barracks when you can. And all the extra items and traps are for early on if you want.

Right, I forgot about that castle requirement. For DE, you can simply use wallbreakers and goblins to break in quickly depending on the base layout or snipe with archers. Some people leave their storages outside their walls. If you can climb up to +1900 trophies, you can zap for 250+ ea spell or if you get lucky, you can find abandoned TH9 bases and easily get +1.5k DE around here without needing to zap.
Having 1 lv9 barrack for dragons is nice, especially for war since you'll be able to 3 star any TH7 base with ease with 8+ dragons and 3 lightning spells. 1 air defense can't hold off 8 dragons, which also means that you should upgrade your air defense soon. If you have no trouble with farming and keeping your builders busy, you can upgrade something else and save builders for when things get expensive and you can afford paying 1-2m per upgrade
Dark barrack should be a low priority if you want to upgrade the king or want to use minions for BAM since low level hogs aren't very good anymore due to the 1.5x dmg from big bombs. All traps have a reasonable rearm cost except for big bombs and seeking mine maybe

So, getting DE with the goblin and wallbreaker tactic is a good thing, well, if you're farming it, at least. I assume it's not helpful for trophies, which are usually pretty easy to get. And look for bases with about 750 DE. Ok. Unless you have barely any trophies... Sigh...
And getting a lv9 barrack, depending on how often you play, could be a priority. And as a result, upgrading it's main weakness is also a priority. Thankfully, my only air defense is at lv4. With another 1 coming soon.
Get the dark barracks later then, if you wish to upgrade the BK. Unless, you want to get hog riders, but even then, they're not good at a low level due to their weakness to the giant bombs... And just being bad at a low level.
I didn't mean that you need to go really high. It's just that you'll find less DE on average at lower leagues since most TH7 won't be carrying much DE on them but it's still possible to farm DE at a steady pace since the defenses are weaker. I haven't been in Gold III in a while but barbs and archers are usually enough for me to reach the DE storage in Gold II
