I just started about 5 days ago. I already have discovered, I can't save gems for ♥♥♥♥, I don't spend on gems, because my wife would whoop me twice.
Anyways I am TH 5 I have no problems raiding and winning tons of loot at such a low level, but I am getting annoyed with only 2 builders and full storages all the time.
Any advice on what I should focus on leveling first at such a low level.
Maybe if you offered to do all the chores for a week she would let you spend $5 to get a third builder.
I'd upgrade Storages, Army Camps, Spell Factory, and Lab first. After that, Defenses, specifically splash, should be next.
Save up those gems for workers if you don't want to spend money. It's worth waiting. (x

Yea I have the main splashers up to par at least. I frankly probably just need to suck it up and max storages. The raiding part I find easy.
It's the waiting part that is frustrating. I will try to do that achievement for my 450 gems, and then probably buy the 4th, this game is fun for sure.
