Added time on upgrades?

Thats the problem, you assume that 100,000 of people will gem the extra time which is ludicrous. Id hazard a guess that less than 20% even realise there is an issue and of those only a handful will actually gem the time.

Waiting an extra 2 hours over a 5 day upgrade isnt that bad. Its not stopping OP playing the game.

I understand it is an issue but its been blown out of all proportion.

If you upgrade just before bed, you have to wait the extra 8 hours for every five day upgrade.

That's 1/15.
If, say, 1/10 gem it, that's barely a 1% increase in revenue.
One would wonder why SC does such an annoying and small thing just to tick off a whole lot of other people.

On the other hand, it does make them money, and I am curious as to why it has not been fixed.

Or they close the threads as there is allready bigger threads open on the same topic and any new topic is just likely to repeat the previous comments posted in the older topic. Forum should be about new discussion instead of having the same conversation every other week or even daily for some topics. On worst times you can even multiple threads ln the same topic on the first page as people are simply to lazy to look for all ready existing topics when they come up with a "original" idea.

intentionally added or done by mistake does not really make a big difference. In the end we are talking about a very minor issue that can easily be worked around. So your builder is freeing when you sleep or are otherwise busy. You will then put him to work the next time you are online and have enough resources to get that builder working.

It is not a bug, it is a feature for what ever reason it is in the game and I personally would rather see SC using their time on other things then this. I would even like more randon builders like a upgrade would take +- day from the time given when you start the upgrade. Sometimes your builder would be hard at work and other times he would be hardly working. Like the gems for obstacles, sometimes you get lucky, other timer you get nothing.
