I am a town hall 6 level 35. I am wondering if it would be worth it to go straight to town hall 7 for the level 4 troops, as I do use barch a lot for farming.

I would say go for it just because of the extra barrack and camp.

It's fine. The disadvantage at lower Town Halls is very marginal and it won't really affect you as a majority of players tend to rush to TH 6/7/8 and come out rather decent.
Just make sure to be a bit more active as it'll help.

It doesny matter if u rush to th7.. I did too for the same reason as yours.. Just watch that u dont again rush to th8 for the DE drill as th7 gets tempted for it... I have seen many people who do so...
I did, but make sure you upgrade troops first, and your gold that you will be getting, walls,cc, and main defences, so good luck!! Make sure you catch up though

I say go for it. Looking back I wish I would have. That added army camp and level four troops makes a huge difference in raiding. It makes it a lot easier to get those defenses built.
If your defenses are good, have at it.
