Should I upgrade to TH9?

I'm a couple hundred thousand gold from having enough to upgrade to TH9. Should I upgrade my TH or finish upgrading my air defenses / archer towers to max?

I would wait it out and max your walls and most of your defenses. I rushed to TH9 and I regret it so much now.

Is the loot penalty for upgrading to TH9 really that bad?

Do you have hard time finding elixir ? I see your lab stop working and you dont have much elixir. Level 6 troop is not cheap. It is around 6 mil. To max army camp, SF, drill also need a lot of elixir. If you dont have hard time finding elix, you are okay to go. Also just make sure you can get 40k DE for queen. Other than that, you are good to go. Your defenses are better than mine when i went to th 9 except your wall. It is recommended to get at least purple wall so that levl 6 wb doesnt 1 shot your wall.
