And there is no reason to max bk at th8. For one you're going to be fighting to keep the de that is almost free to get as a th9, and a few levels on a bk can't even compare to the damage you can do with hogs. I'm going to assume you stopped using hogs ever since they made it mandatory that you actually use your brains with them.
