Golems/golemites and balloons inflict damage to surrounding/below structures/troops when they are destroyed so perhaps giants should do a small amount of damage when they are killed. This might be a bit silly and too much work for not much difference, but I know there has been more than a few times that a giant was killed by the cannon or archer tower it was attacking and the life bar on the turret was so low I couldn't even see purple...would have been nice for the falling giant to fall on the completely depleted cannon and finish the job instead of allowing it to continue normal operation. So since the troop is a giant, maybe to simulate the impact after falling it can do a small amount of splash damage to a very small area. I don't think the giant lies down gracefully when being shot down so maybe that 1000 lb fall from way up there can make a little splash damage when it hits.
