Seeking advice: What's my Best TH8 vs TH8 Enemy Attack Strategy

All I do is 12 giants 4 wb then 112 archer 5 wiz (for donations 132 arch if clanless). Giants shield while archers get the collectors amd outside storages. I get 50 percent 9/10 times and two star 5/10 times depending on th im up against.

I've been a TH8 for 3 weeks and am not having much luck vs TH8 bases. The Tesla's and Mortars are tough on my troops.
I'm trying to farm well while slowly raising trophies to 1400 from 1200.
My priorities in order are: minimum one star, profitable net elixir, then gold collection.I search thru maybe 20, looking for 1) Good Elixir (100k+), and 2) 80k+ gold. Gold comes more easily, elixir is tougher to build.

I'm mostly using 12-15 Giants/Healer, 8-9 WB/40-60 Archer/25-40 Barbs/10-20 Gobs/Health or Rage spell only occasionally if big loot

My troop levels are:
Lvl 5: Barb 5, Archer
Lvl 4: Goblin, Giant, Wallbreaker, Wizard
Lvl 3: Balloon
Lvl 2: Healer
Lvl 1: Dragon, Minion, Barb King

Since barbs and archers are your only level 5 troops I would barch I normally use 100 barbs100 archers but you could also throw in some wallbreakers or other combos of troops the first few weeks are hard try and take level 7s mostly until gaints are level 5 and maybe other troops the use gaint healer or gaints wizards barbs goblins

IMO, max you drags ASAP and use mass drags if you have the elixir. Otherwise, at TH8, I was able to 70-80% ok TH9's with dragons and wizards.

Try Barch: Barbarian+Archer. Find bases with uncollected resources or exposed storages. This will get you one star and lots of loot.

That sounds good for elix collectors up at 1400+ but I need to also increase my trophy count slowly as I go. Do you maintain your trophies or drop with barch?

I was barching up at 1600-2000, it works fine, if you drop a bit too much, find a th snipe. But whenever I attack with that army, 50% is easy to obtain, especially since you have lvl 5 troops, so it shouldn't be too hard

Thanks I have ended up using Barch with a handful of WB's in reserve. Seems to be working - faster time to cycle from one raid to the next and much less elixir needed. Right now I am focussing on those with outside th to ensure my trophies don't drop while I practice BARCH.

BARCH. Best farming strategy for TH 8. Just search for TH 7s with full storages or TH 8s if you have level 5 troops.
