Seeking advice: What's my Best TH8 vs TH8 Enemy Attack Strategy

I've been a TH8 for 3 weeks and am not having much luck vs TH8 bases. The Tesla's and Mortars are tough on my troops.
I'm trying to farm well while slowly raising trophies to 1400 from 1200.
My priorities in order are: minimum one star, profitable net elixir, then gold collection.I search thru maybe 20, looking for 1) Good Elixir (100k+), and 2) 80k+ gold. Gold comes more easily, elixir is tougher to build.

    I'm mostly using 12-15 Giants/Healer, 8-9 WB/40-60 Archer/25-40 Barbs/10-20 Gobs/Health or Rage spell only occasionally if big loot

    My troop levels are:
    Lvl 5: Barb 5, Archer
Lvl 4: Goblin, Giant, Wallbreaker, Wizard
    Lvl 3: Balloon
    Lvl 2: Healer
Lvl 1: Dragon, Minion, Barb King

    Thanks in advance!

Find rich Th7's and learn how to barch. You will have more elixir than you know what to do with. Don't take on max TH8 until you have max your barch army.

Get your WB to five. They will help you a lot in cracking open level 5 walls, it's worth the investment.

Also, giant/healer isn't that economical, which is likely why you aren't gaining as much. It costs a lot and has a long build time. Try using mostly tier 1 troops.

Thanks! Can you explain barch - what mix do you like? That's barbs and archers only?

Thanks. Plus I seem to get my healer knocked down too quickly.

What Tier 1 mix do you find works best at this level? And can you still snag a win?

    Thumbs Up Barch

    I barch'ed at th8, 100 barbs, 100 archers.

    I still barch at th9, 120 barbs 100 archers.

works very well against outside exilir pumps, but I'll deploy a few barbarians first, then follow them up with some archers, as you could tell this works very well with lvl 6 troops

    barbarians - take hits
archers - follow barbarians and help clear defences infront

That sounds good for elix collectors up at 1400+ but I need to also increase my trophy count slowly as I go. Do you maintain your trophies or drop with barch?

I use hybrid GARCH - 12 giants, 6 wb, 40 goblins, the rest archers. I am TH9 but I used this at th8 also. I can normally always get one star, two about 1/3 of the time and sometimes three. Very good for farming collectors and many storages also.

Also use heal spell on about 1/2 of the attacks as needed.

Sounds good. What trophy level do you like to farm at?

i kinda do what the original clan man said. throw in a few giants with the others to draw the fire for a bit. but i really like my goblins they will take out storages in no time if u can get them a path to the middle.

but the best way to save elixir is to use all dark troops. then your net is 100 percent of reg elixir. that what i do when i am really trying to get a certain amount of elixir for an upgrade or something.
