How to you beat spread out th9 bases?

I really haven't tried as I've gone for easy 3-stars with hogging. I'm not sure gowipe has the speed to get around this base in time.

While I agree I would be worried about gowipes speed, I would definitely not try your luck again with hogging. having multiple double bomb spots with maxed centralized defenses and central heros is a disaster for your hogs

Gowipe or gowiwi would be your best two options. Attack from the bottom right....closest path to the townhall. I dunno about 3 stars, but 2 stars is very achievable.

Also, his air defenses are spread out and near the outisde. Mass dragon or drags/balloons from the bottom right may work too

I'd probably favor the gowiwi due to the spread out nature of this base. I'll admit I am not a gowiwi expert as I usually rely on gowipes.

Ive seen Gowipe do very well against these types of bases

If you can afford it mass Witches with CC Wiz makes short work of spread out bases. 1 Jump 1 Lightning in case of Wiz in CC, rest Rage. I have done this type of base a few times now in wars since I was TH9.

GOWIPE with Jump is an EASY 2 star. So easy.
