May be becuz your jump spell does not provide a quicker road for next defende building ?

Troops aren't “attracted” to the jump spell, they will only use it if it helps them get to thier target faster. The easiest way to think of it is like a large, temporary wallbreaker. When placing the jump spell, just think “Hmm ... if I broke that wall section normally, would the giant go there or is it too far?”

Giants use nicely jump spell but be sure to clean the surroundings before dropping it.
