Hello help needed!!
i have three army barracks each with about 100 troops in them. When I go to battle there are only about 30 to 40 troops I can use in the battle out of the 300 troops I have trained. When I return from battle there are no troops in my barracks. Is this normal? It just seems weird that I train all these troops and yet can on,y use some of them. I'm only fairly new so I might be doing something wrong?

The barracks are the place where you train your troops. If your troops are in the barracks, that means that they are not yet ready and you should wait.
The army camps in other hand contain the trained and ready to battle army.

OK, the other thing - the camps may have max 220 units.
I don't see how you can use "300".
Each camp says there are 100 troops in it. I have three camps. When I go to battle I only have about 40 troops to use in battle. It just doesn't make sense to me that I have all these troops in camps and I can't use them in battles
When you click on any camp it shows the total army in all camps, not in one camp...
Also u can have only 20 units (giants) - which will be a total 20x5 per giant = 100 units space.
That's why u can have less units then troop space.
What army you use?
Wrong, max troop capacity is 240 if you don't count the troops from your CC (which would add up to 275 troops in total).Originally Posted by FLISEN
220 space is when all your army camps are level seven, the max level is eight though.
Judging by the question, this is probably a low town hall level with 3 army camps.
If you look again, you willl see that it says TOTAL Army space, no camp space.
Remember to try an think it through, and look in the *small* print :P

Thanks that makes it much much clearer. Didn't realise clicking on one camp shows total for all three camps and that the total was unit total, not troop total.
I have giants, wizards, air balloon, goblin, wall breaker, archers, barbarians of various levels. I guess instead of having some of each level maybe I should try different combinations of certain types.
