It would be easier if you could set it to a certain thing, then ALL troops of that type are that variant. Having multiple variants in the same army would take up too much space for donating, or in the army bar, as each variant would need its own button...

it seems like a good idea but it would ruin the simplicity that we all love

I guess that is a valid argument. On the flip side, I am terrible at attacking because none of the troops' style really appeal to what I like to do. I think having options is always good

Sounds like it's too complicated to the point where it's sort of becomes another game. If you can customize the army, why not give a Giant a bow, which replaces Archers with a more tanky ranged units? Why not give the Goblin a bomb, which replaces wall breakers with faster wall breaking? Why not give a Dragon Wall Breaker breath to explode walls like crazy? which would be awesome to watch

Not taking it that far lol. Like actual (and more suitable), yet controlled opions. I wouldn't give dragons others options or PEKKA any other options. The options should just be options, and not any better than the other. If you want to go just raid collectors in gold league, you might want some barbarians that will get the job done quicker, even if they have a chunk of their HP taken away. Basically think of it as a system of giving and taking away. If you want more fire power, you have to loose defense. If you want more defense, you have to loose fire power. If you want a balanced troop, then just roll with the one already in the game. And again, it just doesn't have to be like that, Supercell should be creative and come up with great new ways to make combat exciting instead of buffing one troop and nerfing others

    Cool Great idea!

First off i'd like to say how much I truly loved this idea. My favorite type of games are the games that my profile can stand out compared to other players! I think the idea of a "Army Base" is a great idea and i'd love to see it actually be inputted into the game. If it toke elixir to discover the different types of "traits" for the individual troops would be fantastic because after I finish upgrading my barracks and troops I find myself not need elixir for anything expect troops and spells(which is 200,000 depending on the comp). The "Army Base" would make elixir so much more valuable to players.

I also think it would be quite amazing if you could customize how your hero's raid/defended. I feel like this would greatly change defending and attacking.

Although I am a very fan of the "Army Base" I am sorta doubtful about the elemental effects that would be placed on the defenses of bases. This is more of me being confused on the system but i'm sure if it was implemented into the game it would be thoroughly explained to the players so this isn't much of a issue.

This was a great idea and I would love to see it be put into the game!

    Good idea 👏

A great idea but it will require months of programming and cs probaly won't do it intill the game is bug free and nearing th15 update or around that.

Thank you! The elemental idea is to make sure that not all defenses are a garenteed loss, and that base design will actually matter a lot. There will be a greater chance of winning defenses, and also, attacking will become more strategic. It is mainly for a higher level thing, as their should be a th requirement for troop options and elements.

Yeah man it would! Look how long something so seemilnly simple like clan wars took! If it took a long time, that would be great because the game might get stale for many by that time

Cool Love it! Your going to vegas, baby!

THIS. IS. AWESOME!!! Anyways, good idea! Its so personal! People may think "Psshhh, Cannons stink!" when they could be firing balls of flame and melting away your Ice Giants or that "Barbs suck! I would never use them as a meat shield!" Give them a shield to replace their sword and watch the archers mow down the base while the barbs barely take a SCRATCH. Better yet, make it so there's an invincible villager that can become your most powerful troop yet take no army space and represent, YOU! Ultimate customization! MWAHAHAHAHA, *♥♥♥♥ *weeze* WEEZY! Sorry, hair ball.
