Go zap, it's not hard. You don't need to use those expensive Giant-Wizard armies or Mass Dragons. It's simple, just zap. Sure, people get mad when they get zapped, but you know what? Too bad.

I am TH9 now but really 7 needs a drill period. The only reason they don't have a drill is so Supercell can tempt players to gem. I get it, they want to make money but I found this very lame when I was at 7.

To get the King I went up in Trophy count and hunted exposed DE with troops and lightening. It took me about 2 days. It can be done... but it was lame in my opinion.

You do not get enough DE (or any other resource) from drills mines and collectors. The only real option is to farm.
The single lvl 3 drill at TH8 can't produce even close to the DE one need for BK lvl 10, DE troops and important DE updates (hogs and minions).

I have a lvl 5 barbarian king and every single dark elixir troop upgrade done and i'm TH7. I just barched drills and lightning spelled storages.

actually the better use of the zapper is on DE drill during collector raide.
I often have this jussy lvl 5 or 6 drill in the middle of the base, too far inside for barbs and archers.

I don't like players who use lightning to steal DE. Just try to attack, it'll help u a lot in improving your skill, don't be like a thief

I already have attacking skills, I just zap when I need de
