How to defend against dragons?

place storages in front of ADs and town hall, they are perfect tanks. The drags take pretty long to take down a storage and the air def will slowly take it down.

I agree with other posts. I would add, and not to insult your intelligence, but a or defense needs to be a priority upgrade. The higher it is, the more often people click next. Additionally, having your air defense in a triangular setup behind storage is ideal so that they can have double coverage on dragons. Having your air defense at least 2 walls deep helps as well to keep giants in a clan castle from taking out one. If you keep the coverage overlapping then if lightening spells take one out you will still be fine.

While you shouldn't leave air towers too weak, I'd disagree that they should be a priority. They take longer than other defenses to upgrade (yes I'm aware that there are less AD too) and only targets air but most of the time, you'll be hit by ground troops. While you should protect against those dragons, you won't meet them too often since they take relatively long to train/costly and you'll be skipped by dragoneers if your loot isn't too tempting

Also don't underestimate the power of funnelling. If your outer buildings are closer to each other than to the core, Dragons will steer off around the base rather than towards the core, giving your ADs more time to cause damage.

Think of it as joining the dots; the path of the Dragons is the path of lines joining the closest dots together.

Have a core of ADs, with an outer ring of high Hitpoint items (storages), also place seeking air mines strategically around the base to maximize their chance of detonating on a dragon.

You should be fine if your ADs are close to the centre and well upgraded. seeking air mines and teslas close to the centre help too. Also, archer towers do help a bit against dragons, so make sure you upgrade those.
