A way to Spice up CoC - Fun Competitions in order to get GEMS!

I beg you read it ALL! I put some effort into this.

Well this is going to be a long thread, but I will try my best to concise it as much as possible. I think this a very good idea and it will really hep to spice up Clash of Clans.

Overall Summary (For those who don't want to read ALL of it)
This is a competition between people in order to earn gems. You will choose which competition you want to compete in. You pay 15 gems to be entered into the competition. These gems (15 from each competitor) will be added up and put in a competition bank. You compete in the competition and at the end there will be three winners. 1st place will get 50% of the gems from the competition bank, 2nd place will get 30%, and 3rd place will get 20%.

The Aim
This will help people who are struggling to get gems, to get some. These Competitions will help donating, promote activity and help pushing and of course it will be FUN

How to enter (Randomly Selected)
There will be a button next to the trophy button with a picture of a dragon. Tapping said button will lead you to the competition information screen. If you are in a competition it will show a leaderboard of everyone in your current competition. If you are not in a competition, it will ask you what kind of competition you would like to join. This will lead you to a screen where it will ask you to choose a Competition. You can pay up the 15 gems and it will match you with up to 50 people of the same town hall level who are trying to do the same competition as you.

How long is every Comp
5 days

What Competitions are there

• Donating - Who donates the most
• Who attacks the most
• Who defends the most
• Who gains the most Cups
• Who steals the most Gold
• Who steals the most Elixir
• Who steals the most Dark Elixir
• Who steals the most in total resources
• Who destroys the most of a certain building
• Randomly selected Competition

How are these counted
There will be a leaderboard within the Dragon button and it will show how much time remaining time and what your score is

What happens at the end of the Competition
Once the Timer has finished, the winners will be awarded their gems. This is how they are given out. Ok 50 people take part in the Competition and each of them payed 15 gems. In total that is 750 gems.
1st place get 50% of them so that is 375 gems
2nd place gets 30% of them so that is 225 gems
3rd place gets 20% of them so that is 150 gems


Some notes and extra details

• You can not take part in more than 1 competition at a time!

Conclusion
I think this in general will help make CoC a better game!!

I think this is a great idea as it does not require gems to appear out of thin air. It just redistributes currently existing gems to winners of contests. Only thing I would say, don't do clan competitions just solo competitions.

Thanks for the Feedback! I will remove the clan part, I think clans already have enough to think about with war!

Just a small tweak, but there is no room for another button over the cw button because of the chat.

I have seen lots of ideas such as this, and yours is one of the best implementations. The one thing I didn't like too much was the fact that someone like me (near max TH 9) could be against 49 premie TH 9s with golden walls and level 2 barbarians. Maybe it should be like clan wars matchmaking. Other than that, a great idea!

I agree with this unfortunately... Let me to look at the game for a good spot for this button...

Whenever you want Quantam! i think there is enough players out there in order for matchmaking to be swift and easy

Id say after 10 people get matched together it starts 12 hours later to give people time to prepare and for the competition to fill with even more people.

Also, having the button next to the trophy button sounds like a good idea.
