I would love to see a new structure called "Guard Post" that functions like a Clan Castle on defense but the troops inside can only be added by the individual player. This would allow those not in a clan to benefit from using defensive troops or those in a clan to contribute to their own defense with troops. The troops inside would not be available to attack during raids conducted by the player, just for defense from raids by other players. You could also be able to build an additional Guard Post or two depending on Town Hall level.
