Barbarian King? Worth It?

The Barbarian King has been my ultimate goal for a very long time.

Is it worth saving up or using gems?

It's not hard to save up enough Dark Elixir to buy him. Don't use your gems, save yo money.

save that money for the builders and just gather dark elixir in high crystal 3

After the king was nerfed, still yes, but only to lvl 5. Basically a free weak pekka every 4 attacks. He is pathetic now.

With the new update that make him stronger in defense eventhough with reduced damage, he is still strong at high level.

Buy him, and level him up to level 5 to get his Foam Fist ability.

Some of you would actually gem a barb king? Where i'm at right now, 10,000 dark elixir is what I can get in less than a day if I tried. It is not worth even 100 gems in my opinion.

Yes. I would gem to unlock the king. I did the other day on my th7 account. Its worth it to have him early in th7. Not as worth it as it used to be.... I would not gem him to lvl5, but thats as high as its worth to have him period. Dark e is not too available at th7 like is is later, so itll be tough to steal that much to get him to lvl 5.

I farmed up to a BK and AQ level 30 and level 25 respectively and I can honestly say that I would get them as high as possible. They're always an additional tool to sometimes clutch raids
