Games kinda gets boring when you spend too much money and you're already at the top, compared to when you do not spend much at all.

In this game, every only takes longer and longer to upgrade. By the time you're TH8/9, things take 10 to 14 days to upgrade. Trust me, 4-5 days is NOTHING.

I just think they are kind of useful in some situations. For example I can boost my barracks and decrease the time between raids.

Yeah, but do you really need over 400 gems a day for that? Even the really high farmers that push, like unity sharp, might barely spend 400 a day, and that's for maybe 2 weeks. 400 gems allows you to boost all 4 barracks and spell factory for 16 hours a day

Farm your way to TH9 with level8 walls then gem you th10 because loot there suck really hard unless you're addicted to the game who has +200 attack per season . And i gemmed my 3rd 4th and 5th builders when i realized that i like the game and i'll keep playing it i think when i was th6. To be honest i needed the money at that time so i barely convinced myself to buy those builder but now i don't want to kill the joy of playing at low level then keep improving by the time. now i'm th9 i did everything except for my walls all are level 8, cannons, archer towers. if i did bought gems in the future it will be for boosting my spell factory or barracks
