When did you 3-star Sherbet Towers?

Just a little background, I had attempted Sherbet Towers and just sniped for elixir...but I finally went all out on it and managed to 3-Star it (as a TH8) Just out of curiosity, when did you 3-Star Sherbet Towers? I am also curious to hear the strategy used...

back when i was town hall 8 i used all level 1 pekkas lol

TH7 no BK, followed some guide on youtube that included BK. Tried it without, failed twice and 3rd time it worked out. If i remember right it was 2 rage spells, 1 heal spell, 30 ish giants, 1 dragon + 1 dragon in CC and few arch and wb's to break the top walls.

Honestly, I haven't yet...I had elixir to burn so I thought I would give Sherbet Towers a shot That will be my next attack though! (On a shield haha)
