Anti dragon?

Hi I am a max th8 besides walls (lvl7). My clan is mostly th9 and th8 with some th10s. I attack with drags and balloonian in war. The other clans seem to only do all drags. And it works very well. So I was wondering if there were any anti drag bases for th8

There is no true anti-air base for town hall 8. The max you can do is make sure you have well placed air bombs and seeking air mines, also need to make sure the air defense is nicely spread out and protected.

Spread the air defences out far so they just over lap rings so u can get as many building in between n around them so the drags have to kill every thing to get to them

Truth. The best way to kill all the dragons is to have them burning buildings while anti air hit them. Spread your anti air out and surround it with buildings to protect them

I have a question on this topic

Is it better to put all your airbombs and airmines by the TH or by the ADs?

I was debating this becoz if i put it at the TH then by the time the drags reach the TH some of them would have been taken away by the ADs and the rest which manage to reach the TH could be done by the bombs and mines...

The other idea to put them by the ADs... also make it hard for the drags to reach the ADs by surrounding them with storages where they spend some time... So by the time they reach the ADs they cud be taken by bombs and mines...but there are not many mine and bombs...

So not sure which one is better... Thoughts??

The sooner the Bombs hit the dragons the better. Its hard to say when and where the dragons will drop though.

Spread your ADs and don't let them too exposed. Well place your seeking air mines.

have a strong core of 3/4 well upgraded ADs. Can't get much better than that.

For war, also put the Air defense behind high hit point buildings such as gold/elixir/dark storage, this will keep the dragons in range for longer whilst they take time to destroy the high hit point buildings.

Archer towers are also an important part of defense against dragons, make sure they aren't too exposed also, and get them upgraded

Other comments, re: spread them out etc, placement of seeking mines etc all valid.
