    Should I Be A Premie?

I'm an offensive player, I don't rely on my defense to get me trophies. I'm a TH5 currently and I'm thinking of just rushing to TH7 and making elixir upgrades my top priority and splash defenses. I'm posting this because I need a reason not to be a premie. Any thoughts

No. Never rush Town Hall upgrades.

Rushing to TH7 will not be a show stopper, but at least do yourself a favor and get all the offensive upgrades done at each level before advancing.

Im going to do that. I'm just confused as to if I should do it or not. There's no good points that say I shouldn't rush

Going premmie to level 7 town hall is not even a rush. This is where all the good loots are anyway.

You shouldent rush because of the loot penalty for attacking lower ths then you. If you are th 5 and rush to th 7 then you can only attack th 6-7 for your loot with your th 5 troops making it much harder for your raids. Not to mention you will be an easy target for awhile. But if you at least max your offensive troops then you will still be able to raid effectively. Just dont expect to hold on to any loot when you log off

Do It. Don't listen to the others. I did the same. Just stay at TH7 though. Max splash on six and go for it. The BK and camps are helpful

The poster above just gave you some good points.

Being only th5, you are not yet exposed to the real negative effects of being premie, which are really felt at TH9 and TH10 the hardest, because you really won't be able to hold onto much resources because people will easily steamroll your weak defensive base.

It depends how much you raid. If you raid a ton and always keep your builders occupied then it won't be as big a problem because you can always dump resources into upgrades.

Don't be confused thinking there are no downsides to being premie, because there definitely are. And the further on in the game you go, the more evident these downsides become. Before th7, premie status can easily be overcome, but what's better is never becoming premie in the first place.

Well I rushed town hall 7 and got all caught up by the third week. I had max level 7 walls and was nearly fully maxed on on all my defenses. The thing is if you do rush to town hall 7 you must max out then and there. If you don't max town hall 7 then go to town hall 8 prematurely then it's going to ruin the game for you. I know many people who rushed town hall 9 and 10, they regret every moment of it.
