Idea for changing your name

I know that supercell will probably never add the feature where you can change your name on COC but I had a pretty good idea to discourage people to change their name all the time. Just have the feature cost gems. For example: your first name change costs 100 gems and the your second costs 200 and third costs 400 and keep doubling the price for it no matter what. Just a thought I had. What do you think?

Solve a problem by gemming it? Sounds familiar. But in all honesty, seems pretty steep. Put a cap on it at a decent amount so people aren't buying treasure chests to fix their 14k gem mistake.

I agree, however, the more treasure chests people buy, the more money Supercell makes.

One of the main reasons is trolling. People could join a clan, screw them and leave. Then change their name to maybe the leaders and when the go to a feeder or just out, troll could join and be name leader. Gems don't fix the issue, trolls go the way to just get a laugh

While I have no problem with name change for gems, that is way too cheap!

it should start at around 2500 gems for a name change.
