lvl 8/9 walls necessary?

Im a th9 working my way through defence, hero, and troop upgrades
I currently have all lvl 7 walls (purple) with 30ish skulls
I don't really have the time for the hardcore farming I hear of and am wondering if it would be necessary to get all lvl 8/9 walls once defences are maxed before going to th10
Any advice would be great but im not in a position to be able to farm 8mil in 2 days (or whatever)

It's a game, as long as you enjoy it, you can play it any way you want.

Well like you say, you don't have the time to farm walls so leave them maybe just do a few skulls every so often cos they're only half a mil

Generally I just get called a gemmer with relatively high level walls on global.

But it's like they always so, don't go to global!

I know how cool the walls look and the respect for the player that comes with that but I guess I dont have the time
And anyway
A th10 with maxed th9 defence with infernos and lvl 7/8 walls is stronger then a totally maxed th9 imo
