Language setting makes no difference. This was proved by someone not too long ago, I'll find the link in a minute.

I was always curious...Does being a mod fulfill some deep, dark hole in a person's life? I get the sense mods were picked on a lot in their youth. To the post at hand...I love outside the box thinking. If this strategy works for you, then by all means plow ahead. SC reminds me of the government. Just believe whatever they tell you, it's the truth.

Nope, it's still there.

For the record, I'm all for people trying new things and seeing what works and what doesn't. I only take issue when speculation is passed off as fact. By all means, question SC (it's healthy for the game and the forum), I just find that presenting evidence for unproven methods makes for a better debate.

Also, mods are not employees of SC. I could potentially be wrong about any of this, and I would actually love to be proven wrong.

Well I'm saying you haven't proved it's happening to you. If one person proved it, it should be true for everyone. Saying "I get better raids when I do xyz" isn't sufficient, you would need to run experiments. Have a full army, record how many strong bases you see, then repreat for times when you're only carrying a few troops.

There were actually hundreds of people on this forum and ingame who would swear up and down that they got better loot when they changed to certain languages. However, none of them were able to prove this (because it wasn't true). The issue was put to rest when someone (linked above) found definitive proof that this wasn't the case.
