I have an idea not sure if anyone else posted this or not, but ever since you guys added Clan Wars, it got me thinking. It would be so cool if you could add another feature where you can, lets just say, test your offense or defense against your own clan members, it would allow you to test your strategies with your own clan members. Instead of asking teammates how you should build your base you could just test it. Basically would derive on some concepts from Clan Wars and just General matchmaking but would utilize clans more and wanting to join clans in a way. I would think it would make the game more competitive but also more helpful to starting players and veteran players who would need/offer help, they can view replays and generally see weak points and things.
For Offense:
- You can attack any of your clan members bases, with your army, regardless of where they are in level/upgrades just to kinda see what you can do and where your at, on skill level.
- You won't lose your army when attacking but lose clan castle reinforcements.
For Defense:
- You can request a clan member to attack your base, view replay like normally if someone attacked you and see how you can change things around
- A request must be sent to an attacker to attack a defender. Some way maybe a general request in chat for all clan members or first one who chooses ACCEPT. Otherwise send a specific request to a certain member.
General Notes:
- Your shield wouldn't effect if your clan members/you attacked/defended, just like in clan wars.
- You do lose Clan Reinforcements, just because it's just as easy to gain back
- On Either Offense or Defense, there will be no resource gain or loss. Only for clan castle reinforcements troops, but it would be your choice if you want to attack or defend. I mean hey, it's only practice mode shouldn't be a loss or gain of resources.
I understand that, matchmaking, getting attacked from random players when your shield is gone, and view the replay is the same idea, or that attacking in matchmaking and getting random players and attempting to gain resources/trophies. But the concept is different, because matchmaking is COMPLETELY random, you get people who are barely starting out that are in gold leagues because they get "pushed up" from people who are actually in gold trying to get lower leagues like bronze.
This Clan Practice Grounds, idea is generally for utilizing the clan more, and making clans more active and kind of see players who do want to play the game and get more from it. Just friendly skirmishes.
