    Wall level vs Base Layout

This is something that i realised. The lower the level of the walls, the higher the chance the base leans towards a "complicated design".

This is where intimidation of base layout comes in- how u design ur base, where u place ur buildings etc. The scarier looking the base layout, the lower the chances of being attacked.

The higher the level of the walls, the higher the chance the base leans towards a "simpler design".

At this level, when ur walls are either lego or lavas, most would skip because a ton of wallbreakers are needed to break down the walls.

Failure in breaking into the secondary layer and getting stuck and pummled towards the secondary layer happens most of the time here.

The only type of attacks that (kinda) ignore base designs are:

    1) Loonian
    2) Dragons
    3) Well execute GoWiPe/GoWiWi
    4) Hogs

    What are ur thoughts?

Walls are the one that makes ya base look stronk so I'd say walls at higher lvls can protect you as far as many people will skip ya base because its stronk looking

Interesting thoughts. By "simple" I assume less funneling etc and just solid layered defence?

Well, I changed my base to the th7-Version of the Battleship farming base yesterday and the first one who attacked me got a three star. So no, I don't think it works that way I'd say the walls are the point which decides over 'worth a try' and 'naaaah!'.
I'm very premature, so my walls are mostly golden except a few purple ones, so I guess a complicated or good looking base isn't the main thing.
    TH11 & TH8, work in progress

Yeah its those simple designs. No funneling whatsoever. Just the plain solid bases.

I was considering using your HDT but it seems like one of the complex ones - I felt my walls wouldn't be used as much.

Well it does do its job - even at lv7 walls storage raiding that would almost be an instant skip. Normally I'd consider facing purple walls but.. Not if they're that confusing
