Farming is not good for business

i strongly disagree with you. there are loot penalty applied already. if your friend lose lot of her loot from higher TH, then told her to do the same to her lower TH, simple. if you get raided, then you should raid more. you will end nowhere if you only depend on the collectors. and one more thing, some people might quit if farming still allowed, let say your friend will, but if farming is forbidden, then most of the players will quit

Well I m not exactly saying to band farming maybe if they have a better idea but not until they know that it works and most players like it! bc honestly I would quit the game! If there is not a good alternative! However that's exactly the problem most people start to farm after TH 6! Because there are no good alternatives! You either raid or war! Lowering you trophy lvl and farming tends to get you more than war does! Unless you manage to beat a higher lvled player than you with a higher TH! Otherwise in war you normally break even with maybe a little profit depending on how much you donated! This farming is the best option! However that's what I would like to see is alternatives to Farming that would give profit! Pretty much give us a option that would allow us to earn a profit without dropping trophies! Lessening the amount of farmers! I think being able to buy and sell Troops outside of a clan could be a option! Or check out my hit list option, or if you have an idea then post a link so me and everyone who visits the thread can check it out! But whatever is said I still think there should be better options than simply farming it seems everyone is doing it! Unless they have a hundred dollars to put torwards the game!

*1 This is true. But it is fine because raiding is a big part of Clash of Clans and what makes it fun. If I was able to successfully get past low town hall levels, then why can't everyone else?

*2 No. Increasing your trophy range increases the amount of loot that you get. Especially at higher town hall levels. Also, war should be 75% about the fun, 25% for the loot. Not "War = loot and nothing else". (I made up the percentages, but I just wanted to point out that it isn't all about the loot).

*3 I would rather see one feature done well supplemented by other SMALL feature, rather than a bunch of mediocre features. And Clash of Clans does this: raiding in real-time with Clan Wars, single player maps etc.

*4 The ideas you suggested are not great, but I will not say why because it is irrelevant to the topic.

Street3, I would also have to disagree with you.

Farming is by and large the most efficient way to play this game and there's NOTHING Wrong with that. Supplementary income comes from Clan Wars as well as your collectors/mines/drills.

But don't forget, trophy pushing can also be profitable, especially in the DE category.

Up in high Crystal and low Masters, you can definitely profit from barch raids (aiming for 50% 1-star) as well as balloonion raids. This is because bases up there have a lot holding in their storages for expensive upgrades, and also very important is the huge league bonuses. So even TROPHY PUSHING can net you some good loot, so really, your options for profit are now as follows:

- farming
- clan wars
- mines/pumps/drills
- trophy pushing

Basically if you have the right army, strategy, skill, and trophy range, this game can always be profitable. Many players have maxed out or close to maxed out bases without ever spending a penny on this game. It's because they are patient and smart/efficient players.

You don't need to farm 24/7 for this game to be fun and to progress, but it's the fastest way for sure. As others have said, loot penalty appropriately deals with "bullying" so nothing to worry about there unless a player has upgraded their TH very prematurely in relation to their army and defense strength.

The game is fair, the game is fun. If you disagree, you're doing it wrong
