I like this base it looks solid, but ofc any good attacker will eventually find it's weakness, but overall it looks like it gives atleast some sweat to beat!

That can be incredibly effective, especially if the other team is allowed to get off to a big lead.

My clan just started a war so I'm upgrading as much stuff and building as much new stuff as I can to help test this, but my results will be somewhat skewed since I will definitely not have my Archer Queen by the time the preparation phase is over, or my 2nd x-bow.

And a number of my newer buildings/defenses are woefully underleveled since I just got to TH9 (but all my others coming from TH8 were maxed)

Pretty happy with this result. In a clan war and their #16 attacked me (I'm our #36 out of 40 players) and he's TH10 and I'm brand new to TH9. In this battle all of my TH8 defenses are maxed (except for the small bombs) but everything else defense-wise from TH8 was at maximum.

But, all my new TH9 buildings are not:

    X-Bow - only one built and it's lvl 1, no 2nd x-bow built yet
    Tesla - lvl 1
    Air Defense - lvl 1
    Archer Tower - lvl 4
    Wizard Tower - lvl 1
    Giant Bomb - lvl 1

This guy attacked from the bottom right, his giants wound up getting distracted by the defenses and moved around the outside of the base rather than towards the core, so that worked beautifully.

But then he started dropping wallbreakers, barbs, archers and witches and they pushed towards the core (perhaps putting the builders huts outside would help discourage this?)

I'm thinking possibly finding a way to keep the teslas from activating and pulling troops towards them would be useful, might be related to the builders huts drawing in some troops.

However, considering any other base I've tried would've been three-starred here and instead he only did 63% damage, I feel REALLY good about this bases clan war future for me, especially when I get my new buildings up to snuff.

I'm playing around with modifying this for farming purposes, but would be interested to see if you've already got one? I would think the same concept could apply, although the core would be much larger with the storages crammed in there instead of the TH

This base does have weaknesses, that is true. It is hoggable due to giant bombs not being inbetween defences. I have had some two stars with GoWiPe, but you can expect that as a TH9. I have recently modified it to having giant bombs between defences, but that weakens the base when facing GoWiPe. I have some fairly weak TH9 defences, so that could factor in.
If anyone has some adjustments to the base, comment here.
I will update war logs if I can, as I recently lost all my pictures, so will have to go through camera roll.
Hope you have a good day

I am thinking of a farming version, and modifying the whole base itself.

In our recent war I was attacked SIX times. One fail, five one-stars, lol. Love this base, thank you for making it. The attacks ran the gamut from:

    massed hogs
    giants/wizards/witches
    massed dragons

no Gowipe on me yet, so can't comment. Also, I am VERY new to TH9, so all of my TH8 defenses are maxed for TH8, and I managed to get both x-bows up and all the new defenses, but they are all low level and not upgraded yet, fwiw.

Two of the six attacks on me almost got my TH destroyed, but just barely missed. Pretty happy with the result.

I am toying around with a farming variant now, which for the most part is working alright. Definitely better than anything I've used in the past.
