That wouldn't work exactly how you imagine it...what the issue is is that this game is played on mobile devices that have other functions (not to mention pee breaks) there needs to be a window to allow these things...currently I won't spend gems on boosting barracks etc because of a HUGE waste of money...I would never burn any amount of money but that's what you do...these sub 200 farmers should up their game if it's a problem for them...I stopped spending money on the game due to this...and am sure that if I have so have others.
Your original idea suggested as long as one of your barracks was brewing a troop, you should be able to go offline without being open for attack. So yes, I could easily click to train a troop that takes a long time to finish (i.e. PEKKA or dragon), then cancel it just before it finishes to get my elixir back, then do it all over again. And no, I have never spent any real money on CoC. Before posting an idea, try to look at the suggestion from every angle. Do you realize how much harder this would make it to find a decent village for you to raid? If this idea was implemented, I would only get attacked once every 24 hours, which is when I go to bed. And since my village is in a farming setup, I would likely get a TH sniper, lose only 1k gold/elixir, and my resources would be nice and safe almost all the time.
♥♥♥♥ my internets...
thats stupid but a minute free shield would be good
I don't like this idea at all.
