Requesting a good TH8 farming base.

Hello.

I am currently TH8, level 72. My defenses are mid-level (cannons and AT lvl9, WT lvl5, Mortar lvl6, walls mainly lvl6)

I am farming, four builders, and I have only five total storage buildings, 2 gold, 2 elixir, 1 DE.

I am in the 2000-2100 trophy range. I am CONSTANTLY being attacked by TH9-10 players using a lot of lvl6 giants and lvl3 healers with rage and heal spells as well as maxed archers and barbarians. Not only am I losing trophies to a 50% + TH, I am also losing a large majority of my resources. The usually destroy 3-4 of my total storages.

Can anyone inform me of a good base that can remove the threat of this powerful Giant-Healer attack strategy? My air defenses are lvl4, those are my next upgrades (within a few days I will upgrade them).

The only reason I am at Crystal league is due to the INSANE amounts of loot I can aquire (250-300k of each per raid). I haven't been down past gold 2 in a month or two, is the loot high there?

Hate to break it to you, but at crystal no TH8 base is going to protect you from being raided by TH9/10's and absolutely decimating your base.

If you have loot, you will get raided regardless. Maxed or not, there's always a lvl 100+ lurking down in the lower leagues ready to take everything.

Trapception is good, yes....but so are many others. I also generally try to avoid bases that are popular and people have seen 100x as they generally know exactly how to hit you.

If you do use them, I'd encourage you to put your own spin on the base, or at the very least change up some trap placement.

I gave up farming in crystal as I was growing tired of wasting 100K hitting the next button and being constantly raided by 125's. No real reason to be up there as a TH8 either, unless you really need the dark elixer.

I'm using the Shuriken Farming Formation Variation #2. It's awesome! and I swapped the Elixir in the core for Gold storages, that way my king is protecting all 3 gold storages and the DE storage. Awesome awesome base.

How is the loot down in gold 3? Is it any good like in crystal? And dark elixir isn't a huge priority, my BK is already lvl5 and hogs are lvl3

I just was farming Silver and loot was good. There's just no de but for gold &elix I would recommend gold, going crystal 3 now too, but just to get my DE done, want valks lvl 2 ^^ just drop a bit. Shuriken is a nice base, I like it, would tell u to use it 2. Don't drop too far, that was my fault, u just won't get raided anymore and its hard to get trophys back. Try between Silver and gold I.
