Resource Spending

Hey guys! I am having another 2 hour resource gathering time later this evening, and I was wondering what I should upgrade.

Upgrades:

6 bombs to level 5
1 gold storage to level 11(3 upgrades)
Barb king to level 10(5 upgrades)
Minions to level 4
Hogs to level 4
Valks to level 2
Golems to level 2
187 walls to level 8
AND FINALLY Town Hall to level 9(I kinda want to upgrade VERY soon)

Tonight, I want to focus on Gold and DE(since my elixir is full) Post what you think I should do down below!

Personally I would send all dark elixir to the barb king until he is level 10. As far as troop upgrades, you need to make some decisions about what type of attack you want to be using first:

Hogs: Still viable but not the no-brainer they used to be for Clan Wars

Golem/Pekka/Wizard: I'm starting to love this attack and am glad I upgraded my Golem and Pekka.

Minions: I don't really use mine but I did upgrade them.

Valkyrie: Don't have much experience at all with her yet.


Excess gold will end up in your walls regardless (you will have nothing else to spend gold on). I strongly encourage you to get some of those big dark elixir troop upgrades done before you jump to TH9 because at that point you will be busy with other things and they will likely get thrown to the back burner. You can farm plenty of dark elixir as a TH8.

I can see that logic too. My thinking is that I want to optimize my normal farming troops first and the highest level king is something I will use regularly when I farm. The other troops I usually just use for clan wars. Regardless, I recommend he upgrade ALL of those before he goes to TH9.
