I suggest a development of a system where clan members can have contest within their clan. To be able to put elixers or gold or gems up for a pot for the winner - example best loot of the week: members in the clan puts up 10k elixers, post their best loot and winner gets the pot. This will keep it interesting within the clan - members would interact more and have more fun.
It doesn't have to be this exactly but having activities within the clan would be beneficial to its members.

Would the members have to donate if they didn't want to? And perhaps all of the members didn't have to compete and the bystanders could maybe bet what they want (whether it be gems, elixir, dark elixir, or gold ) on who they think will win.

The idea would need some fine tuning but I guess it's banned.instead the winner would get a fixed bonus , therefiore no resource exchanging and only a clan with 20+ members can do this
