So hogs no longer attack Heroes when all defenses are down?

I used hogs on a war attack recently.

After the defenses were destroyed I had approx 10 hogs left.

My hogs then ran right by the Barb King and began destroying an elixir storage.

So my hogs went from 10 down to 3 because the Barb King kept ♥♥♥♥ing away while my riders were destroying buildings.

I mean, I use hogs to clean the map of all defensive threats and then I have to somehow get other troops in the middle of a stacked base just so the Barb King won't ruin my attack.

They basically have all the characteristics of giants, besides being able to jump walls, and have way lower hit points.

I'm not sure how the mechanics of it work, I have seen my hogs wreck a BK after defenses but I have gotten a nice 3 star with their BK at full health.

In a raid I did yesterday, my hogs destroyed all the defenses and then turned on the barb king that chased them around. They all attacked and killed him. So to answer your question, yes they do still attack heroes after they destroy all defenses.

They will attack heroes after all the defenses are down, but only if it is the closest building structure.
