Most efficient way to spend gems? (TH9)

Hey,
I got a 50€ itunes gift card and wanted to use it for gems.
I already have 5 Builder Huts, 50% of my TH9 Base is already maxed (If you want to check my Base: Duy, Clan: Bluemeth).

Can you recommend me how I should spend my gems the most efficient way? Wanted to use it on my AQ (lv 16 at the moment) but since the update I don't think she is worth upgrading higher than lv 20.

Barrack boost really seems like the best option. Boost up and upgrade your heros or whatever you want.

I would be led to agree with the other posts here. I have a few friends in the same predicament. They did one of 3 things:

1. Bought dark elixir to upgrade dark troops
2. Upgraded heroes
3. Boosted barracks for more attacks

Many did not have max golems for their TH, so they did that instead because they could not be on long enough to make the most of the barracks boosting. This is a great alternative for those who can be on for a longer stretch because you get the loot you need for those walls.

They also shortened the time they had left when they upgraded these dark troops as well in the lab due to the massive time it takes.

If you really need to spend gems:

boost barracks - boost spell factory - boost heroes.

attack like crazy and upgrade all you can


My clan mates often boost dark elixir drills. That's an extra 4800 DE each day if your DE drills are maxed. You have to empty them at least every 8 hours. 68 gems for 4800 DE.

Buying directly that DE would cost you 326 gems.

As you can see, it's better to be patient and gem each day than try to get 100k DE in a single day (3000 gems).

Finishing upgrade times for spell factory, heroes and barracks is the way i have always used gems.
