Introduction:
Hello everyone. My name is Felix Pazer and this is my first ever base design thread. I've always enjoyed reading other people's threads and the various strategies which they apply yet have never opened up a thread myself to receive criticism.
That being said, I hope to get a significant amount of constructive criticism from everyone so that I can further improve my base and the strategies which I apply in game. So let me introduce my very own unique base design:
The King's Shield
Base Overview:
Base Overview With CC Range:
Base Overview With Only Towers:
Base Overview With Only Traps:
Pros:
-centralized and difficult to lure CC
-traps to kill any giants meant to lure out CC
-resource collectors are well protected instead of just placed outside the base
-spread resource storages
-all speciality towers are triangulated
-town hall at the bottom slows down attackers where traps are not as available
-the base is designed so that the giants will keep circling the outer ring so as the prevent the core from being affected
-one wizard tower cover ever storage
-the mortars will always be in range of anything that enters the shield
-balloon trap at the top where air defence is weak
-difficult to get %50 (helps stabilize trophies while farming)
Cons:
-vulnerable to hogs (If they don't run into a giant bomb by accident they can easily destroy the core. I am in Gold III though and never get attacked by hogs)
-easier to lure CC at the bottom due to no spring traps
-core does not have as many single shot towers in range
