    Introduction:
Hello everyone. My name is Felix Pazer and this is my first ever base design thread. I've always enjoyed reading other people's threads and the various strategies which they apply yet have never opened up a thread myself to receive criticism.

That being said, I hope to get a significant amount of constructive criticism from everyone so that I can further improve my base and the strategies which I apply in game. So let me introduce my very own unique base design:

    The King's Shield
    Base Overview:

    Base Overview With CC Range:

    Base Overview With Only Towers:

    Base Overview With Only Traps:

    Pros:
-centralized and difficult to lure CC
-traps to kill any giants meant to lure out CC
-resource collectors are well protected instead of just placed outside the base
    -spread resource storages
    -all speciality towers are triangulated
-town hall at the bottom slows down attackers where traps are not as available
-the base is designed so that the giants will keep circling the outer ring so as the prevent the core from being affected
-one wizard tower cover ever storage
-the mortars will always be in range of anything that enters the shield
-balloon trap at the top where air defence is weak
-difficult to get %50 (helps stabilize trophies while farming )

    Cons:

-vulnerable to hogs (If they don't run into a giant bomb by accident they can easily destroy the core. I am in Gold III though and never get attacked by hogs )
-easier to lure CC at the bottom due to no spring traps
-core does not have as many single shot towers in range

    Defence Logs (Town hall Snipes/Lightnings):

    Defence Logs (Barbarian/Archer/Goblin/Minions):

    Defence Logs (Actual Attacks):

Its true that I do have a couple of them. It can be kind of difficult to correctly place them though. The Outer walls mess up wall breakers so they don't correctly target the T's. If you line them up perfectly to head for the T junctions they will most likely go through the slots instead of heading for the junctions. If the middle of outer walls was destroyed, they probably would be able to target the T junctions though.

Those walls at the bottom are useless and defending against a TH6 isn't impressive nor should be considered a real attack. Other than that, an okay base, but I've definitely seen better bases before. Good job.

That's true. I didn't know which category to put the attack in so I guess I can start a barbarian/archer/goblin/minion category. I'll move it now. Also, I'll probably move the walls sometime today and repost the base. In the meantime, any more feed back would be greatly appreciated

It would only take 6 wallbreakers guaranteed to get to your dark elixir. Therefore i gotta say this is not that great of a base, sorry. There's no reason to wall in your collectors and make your base more vulnerable. Also, if you're going to farm then farm and put your TH in the corner and use those walls to protect your storages more. If you're going to push then put that TH in the middle. Edge of the base THs are not a good idea. You won't ever get the farmer to spen 5 troops and give you a shield, and you're giving people who want to go after your storages an easy star.

Its true that it doesn't require that many wall breakers to get to my dark elixir storage but those wall breakers would need other troops to tank before they can get anywhere near the walls. CC is a lot more difficult to lure since any giants which are meant to lure them out will fall into spring traps. Any army which is meant to distract towers from wall breakers will have to deal with my wizards in CC.

Regarding collectors. Them being in the inside forces enemies to target them if they come into the circle. There are still buildings outside the walls to distract troops from my defensive towers.

Regarding TH. People have been getting it with just archers and being out of range of towers. Its meant to be there to preoccupy troops which try to use that entrance. This is a farming base which is why I don't want to push.
