I don't recognize it and I have looked at so many TH8 layouts

Yes, most commonly used to protect DE and gold. Many slightly modified versions of this are floating around. Most likely cause it works.

I used it for a little bit but what I didn't like was the outside traps. Then I switched to "Dominion" by Orz.
@Bostonchops, I made this months ago when I was th8. I'm th9 now but I will say it was my best th8 base so yeh
